01 Why did you choose a Delivery Box as an ingredient? Explain the ingredient.

As of last year, the number of packages thrown away annually due to overpackaging exceeded 3.3 billion, and if you look at the delivery boxes that are delivered separately when we buy the same product, you can see that the surge in
waste emissions is serious.

 

02 What is the design intention?

After COVID-19, people spent less time going out and became accustomed to indoor life. Therefore, plants and furniture were combined so that they could heal naturally indoors. The delivery box was processed and transformed into a paper
brick, and then the bricks were stacked to create a production with plants. The work was planned to give people mental healing. Plants and paper bricks were stacked freely to give fun to indoor life.

 

03 What are the craft techniques used? Explain the craft technique you have chosen.

The Jiho technique is to make a paper by tearing it into small pieces, immersing it in water, and then pouring it into a certain mold or adding it to overcome it. After drying, the object was completed by coating it with paper, oiling it, or painting it. It was mainly used to make bowls, basins, and large tin foil.

 

04 Describe the Production Process of the Work.
It is a technique that is made by tearing the paper into small pieces, soaking it in water to release the fiber, and then putting it in a certain frame or adding it. When the object is completed, remove the frame used after drying, add paper on it, feed it with soybean water, or lacquer it to complete it.
